Pierre Paulin for Artifort Yellow Ribbon Chair, 1970s, Set of 2
Originally designed by Pierre Paulin in 1966 in collaboration with Artifort, the Ribbon chair is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art, making it a true design icon.
The sculptural chair is constructed from a wrapped metal frame sitting on lacquered pressed wood base, creating a ribbon-like silhouette.
The frame is covered with horizontal springs and foam for comfort, and is upholstered in stretch fabric in a shade of vibrant yellow.
A fantastic example of the futuristic 1960s design aesthetic, this set of Ribbon chairs would make a bold statement for any contemporary living space.
