Charles & Ray Eames for Herman Miller DTM-2 Walnut Dining Table, 1950s

Originally released in 1947, the DTM Table had four variants. The DTM-2 was the square table with a natural walnut veneer top. Herman Miller manufactured the tables until 1964 when it was discontinued.

The ingenious design by Charles and Ray Eames allows for space saving, with drop legs that fold up inside a recess in the underside of the table top and can be held in place with a strap that fastens with a press-stud.

Featuring a natural veneer top, the table stands on chrome legs that are held in place by built-in metal clips.

Incredibly functional, this table is a true design icon and is perfect for smaller dining spaces or kitchens and can be easily stored when not in use.
