Charles & Ray Eames for Vitra ESU 400 Storage Unit

Originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1949 and manufactured by Herman Miller between 1950-1955, the Eames Storage Unit was brought back into production in the 1990s.

The Modular storage unit has an industrial aesthetic, constructed from a steel frame with a black powder-coated finish and maple plywood shelves.

Offering a variety of practical storage options, the unit is made up of four cupboards with sliding doors, three shelves and three fitted drawers. The sliding doors feature the Eames ‘dimple’ effect, while the drawers have black metal pulls.

A design icon, this storage unit is fantastically versatile and will make a great addition to a contemporary living space or home office.
