Michael Thonet No. 14 Bentwood Dining Chairs, Set of 6, Circa 1900
After years of experimentation and technical advancements, Michel Thonet produced the first No. 14 chair in 1859. Since then it has become one of the most recognisable and mass-produced pieces of furniture of the 19th century and beyond.
Constructed from a simple beechwood frame, the chairs feature the signature bentwood curves with a circular seat and rounded backrest.
The chairs have a caned seat and the wooden legs curve outwards to create an elegant silhouette.
An important piece of design history, these No.14 chairs are truly iconic and will add a classic European bistro feel to any dining room or kitchen table.
