Designed in the early 70s, the Sciangai was the first furnishing accessory proposed by Zanotta and designed by De Pas, D'Urbino & Lomazzi. It was recipient of a Compasso d'Oro Award in 1979. The inspiration comes from the Chinese game where wooden sticks are held in the hand and then dropped onto a table.
