Description
Originally designed in 1963 by Gianfranco Frattini, the Modello 823 bookshelf was manufactured by Bernini. After going out of production Poltrona Frau re-issued the design in 2022 under a new name.
The bookshelf, constructed from Rio Rosewood, is a single tower style unit which revolves 360 degrees with a static circular panel on the top.
The slimline panels allow the compartments to be customised on the three levels, allowing for books to be stored or objects to be displayed.
Designed with compact spaces in mind, the bookshelf is compact and versatile, allowing it to act as a side table as well as a storage unit.
A true icon, this 1960s original Modello 823 Bookshelf is a piece of design history that will continue to stand the test of time and make a fantastic addition to any contemporary living room or home office.
