Originally designed by Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe and Lilly Reich in 1925 and introduced at the Internal Exposition hosted in Barcelona in 1929, the Barcelona chair has since become one of the most iconic designs of the 20th century.
Produced by Knoll since 1948, the Barcelona accent chair combines elegant modernist design with exceptional craftsmanship, making it as popular today as it was in the 1920s.
Featuring a polished chrome frame, hand buffed to a mirrored finish, the lounge chair has curved legs, while the seat and backrest are created from black leather upholstery straps.
The back and seat cushion are upholstered in black leather, made up of 40 individual panels to create a classic button tufted effect.
A true design icon, these Barcelona armchairs are a timeless piece that will never be out style, making it the perfect addition to any contemporary living space.

Details
Overall lovely leather patina and metal in great condition. Some slight punctures on the top back cushion of both chairs, one of the leather bottom straps is scuffed. There is a slight stain on the bottom seat cushion but is covered by back cushion.
