Description
Originally designed by Hans J. Wegner in 1952, the CH29P Sawbuck Chair was manufactured by Carl Hansen & Son until the 1970s and was then reissued again 20 years later.
Inspired by the sawbucks and saw horses used by carpenters, the chair seamlessly combines angles and curves to create a comfortable seat.
Constructed from a teak wood frame, the chairs feature a curved backrest and tripod style legs, with seats upholstered in black leather.
The Sawbuck chair has become a design icon since its inception in 1952 and this set of four chairs from the 1960s are a fantastic example of mid century Danish design.
