Ettore Sottsass for Memphis Milano Treetops Floor Lamp, 2019
Originally designed by Ettore Sottsass for his company Memphis Milano in 1981, the Treetops floor lamp has since become an icon of the Memphis design movement.
Constructed from painted metal, the lamp perfectly balances irony and charm to create a fun design inspired by a tree bending in the breeze.
The cast iron base is formed from a green wedge, with a tubular trunk in orange and red. The light itself can be angled with the adjustable mechanism at the top.
A bold and colourful piece, this Treetops floor lamp is a fantastic example of Memphis design and would add a touch of fun to any contemporary living space.
This lamp was manufactured in 2019 and comes with the original Certificate of Authenticity.
