Brian Kane for Herman Miller Green Swoop Plywood Armchairs, Set of 2

£880 £1,760

Designed by Brian Kane for Herman Miller, the Swoop furniture collection came from the designer’s observations while teaching students at the California College of Art.

Taking its name from the sweeping curves of the silhouette, the Swoop chair is constructed from a moulded plywood base, creating a bucket style seat with flat armrests.

The chair features padding across the seat, back and armrests and is upholstered in a green fabric to contrast the plywood shell.

The chairs have four chrome metal stiletto-style legs with flat feet, which give them a lightweight look. A fantastic example of modern design, this set of armchairs will add the perfect finishing touch to any contemporary living room.
