Designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Cassina and first presented in Cologne in 2008, the Pilotta collection is a fantastic example of classic modern design.
Rather than disguising the frame of the armchair it becomes the main feature. Constructed from black ash, the silhouette is simple yet elegant with a combination of curves and sleek straight lines.
The colour of the wood is complemented by the matt black saddle leather seat, which has a sling style, creating another soft curve.
Beautifully constructed and striking in its design, this armchair would make a fantastic addition to any contemporary living space and will continue to stand the test of time.
