Cassina 501 Capitol Black Stained Oak & Cane Complex Dining Carver Chair
Reissued by Cassina in 2019, this version of the 501 Complex dining chair is part of the Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret collection.
The chair was originally designed for Le Corbusier’s Capitol Complex building in Chandigarh.
Constructed from a solid oak frame with a black stain, the chair features the iconic inverted ‘V’ shaped legs which extend up to intersect with the armrests.
The seat and backrest are made from Viennese woven cane, giving an airy feel and juxtaposing the solid frame and angular silhouette.
A fantastic re-issue of a design icon, this Complex office chair will make the perfect addition to any contemporary living space or home office.
