Danish Mid Century Peter Hvidt & Orla Molgaard-Nielsen FD-516 Coffee Table
Designed by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard Nielsen, the FD-516 coffee table was manufactured by France & Søn in Denmark.
Constructed from teak, the coffee table has a large rectangular table top with curved corners, sitting on tapered cone legs.
A smaller shelf with a matching teak frame and woven cane inlay sits below the table top, held by brass brackets with spherical finial detailing, it gives the impression it is floating underneath.
A fantastic example of mid century Danish design, this FD-516 coffee table is a classic piece that will stand the test of time.

Minor fading. Wood remains in the most sought-after unrestored condition. The grain is full of character and patina, very slight ring mark.
