Designed by Jasper Morrison for the Japanese furniture manufacturer Maruni, the Lightwood chair collection was inspired by Japanese architecture and design.
Constructed from maple wood with a black urethane finish, the chairs are expertly crafted to create a lightweight structure. Contrasting white mesh fabric is used for the seats, adding to the transparent feel of the chairs and adding an additional layer of materiality.
Simple yet striking, these Lightwood chairs would make a fantastic addition to any contemporary dining room or kitchen space.
