Originally designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Castelli in 1967, the Plia chair was introduced at the Fiera del Mobile in Milan and since then has become one of the most iconic chairs of the 20th century.
The Plia chair was the first to be able to fold and stack as well as championing transparent material as the main design feature, making it revolutionary in the furniture world.
Constructed from a chrome-plated steel frame, the chair features a clear ABS plastic backrest and seat giving the chair a futuristic aesthetic.
Perfectly balancing style with practicality, the Plia chairs can be easily folded for flexible storage.
