Description
The DCW chair was initially released in 1946 and designed by Charles & Ray Eames, with Herman Miller taking over the manufacture of the chairs in 1950. This lasted until 1953, when the chairs were removed from production until 1994.
These chairs are 2nd generation (1st generation Herman Miller) as identified by the 5-2-4 screw pattern on the base and the rounded feet. Since its inception, the DCW has become one of the most iconic chair designs of the 20th century. The plywood chairs feature a distinctive silhouette, with a curved seat and lower legs at the back.
These accent chairs are the perfect way to introduce a design classic into a contemporary home. These chairs are classic and timeless and make a fantastic addition to a dining room or kitchen table.
