Description
The DCW chair was originally released in 1946, with Herman Miller taking over the manufacture of the chairs in 1950.
This lasted until 1953 when the chairs were taken out of production until 1994. Since its original inception the DCW has become one of the most iconic chair designs of the 20th century and this model, manufactured in 2004, has a red leather seat and backrest with contrasting black legs.
The plywood chairs feature a distinctive silhouette, with a curved seat and lower legs at the back. This chair is the perfect way to introduce a design classic into a contemporary home. Classic and timeless, it would make a fantastic addition to a dining room or kitchen table.
