De Sede DS-600 'Non-Stop' Snake Orange Fabric Infinity Sofa
Originally designed in 1972 by U. Berger, Eleonora Peduzzi Riva, H. Ulrich and K. Vogt, the DS-600 sofa was named after the Tatzelwurm, a mythical alpine creature.
A true design classic, the DS-600 was awarded the world’s longest sofa by the Guinness Book of Records.
Comprising three separate sections, this sofa has two end pieces with armrests and a central section, which when joined creates a single, sinuous curve.
The sofa is formed of 16 L-shaped elements, constructed from foam and fully upholstered in orange fabric, which creates the snake-esque silhouette.
This iconic DS-600 sofa is a fantastic example of 1970s design and would make a bold statement in any contemporary living space.
