Vintage Danish Dyrlund Solid Teak Wood Bookshelf, 1970s

£1,540 £2,200

Designed and made in Denmark by Dyrlund, this cabinet is constructed from solid teak wood.

The cabinet features a large base cupboard with two compartments, each with a shelf and closing with two tambour sliding doors. A narrower cabinet sits on top of the base cupboard with a set of open shelves at the top and an additional two shelves below which close with matching sliding doors. An open compartment sits between the base cupboard and shelves to create a sideboard.

The sleek, straight lines of the bookshelf are balanced by the rounded corners, creating a classic '70s aesthetic.

A fantastic example of mid-century design, this bookshelf can be used for display or as a drybar and will make the perfect practical storage solution for any contemporary living space.
