Greta M. Grossman by Gubi Walnut & Black 62 Desk
Originally designed by Greta M. Grossman in 1952, the desk was named the 62 for being a decade ahead of its time in its design aesthetic.
Now an iconic piece of mid-century furniture, the 62 Desk is a-symmetric in style and perfectly balances the use of contrasting materials.
Constructed from American walnut, the body of the desk has a sleek, linear silhouette with a glossy black finish on the desktop and cabinet door.
The desk sits on a curved metal leg that interlocks with a juxtaposing straight line in wood. The slim metal legs give an overall lightweight effect, balancing elegantly on wooden ball feet. The cabinet opens to reveal three drawers in matching walnut, offering plenty of storage space, and the door handle mirrors the wooden ball feet.
A true piece of design history, the timeless 62 desk would make the perfect addition to any home office or workspace.
