Marcel Breuer by Thonet S 32 & S 64 Cane Dining Chairs, Set of 4
Originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928 while at the Bauhaus in Berlin, Thonet has been manufacturing the S 32 and S 64 chairs since 1930.
These timelessly modern designs have since become two of the most iconic early 20th century chairs, featuring in the MoMA permanent collection and still in production today.
Constructed from tubular steel, the chairs have lightweight cantilever frames with a black beech wood seat and backrest inset with natural cane.
The two S 32 chairs are armless, while the two S 64 chairs have gently curved armrests in matching black beech wood sitting on the tubular steel frame.
A fantastic set of four dining chairs, these Marcel Breuer styles are highly versatile and would add a touch of classic Bauhaus design to any contemporary dining room or living space.
