Mid-Century French Guillerme et Chambron Extendable Solid Oak Dining Table

£3,640 £5,200
Designed by Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron, this folding dining table is a fantastic example of the pair’s sculptural design style in post war France.
Constructed from solid oak, the table has a slightly angled shape and is hinged down the centre, allowing it to fold in half, with the sides of the tabletop held in place with a metal pin.
The legs have a sliding mechanism, allowing for the table to be compact when folded and fully supported when open. The end legs are carved into arrow-style shapes adding extra detail to the conceptually playful and vibrantly crafted piece.
A stunning piece of mid-century furniture, this oak dining table is incredibly versatile and would make a fantastic addition to any contemporary living space or dining room.
